Benefit Concert Series Merlyn has successfully promoted and produced over a hundred concerts with nationally known recording artists such as; Willie Nelson, the Beach Boys, REO Speed Wagon, Styx, the Steve Miller Band, Randy Travis, the Marshal Tucker Band, Uncle Kraker, Bret Michaels, and the Little River Band to name a few. Every summer for over a decade Merlyn was responsible for bringing these legendary bands to the Lake of the Ozarks, and raised over a hundred thousand dollars for the Kiwanis, and local children's charities.

Motorcycle Rally & Rides
Merlyn was one of the founding members of the Lake of the Ozarks Bike Fest; a motorcycle rally held every September at the Lake of the Ozarks, bringing motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country to enjoy the beautiful scenery and incredible motorcycle riding. The lake community enjoyed tens of thousands of riders coming to the lake community, at a time that the lake was usually winding down for the season. |

Motorcycle Ride for Charity Being an enthusiastic motorcycle enthusiast himself; Merlyn has put together several Charity motorcycle rides, including the "Ride for Relief" benefiting the American Red Cross disaster relief, and the ride that has become the Lake of the Ozarks premier charity ride; the "Ride for Research"; an event that Merlyn teamed up with the family of Tom Turner to benefit the American Cancer Society. Tom Turner was a lake Icon and ran the local news paper; Tom and Merlyn became good friends, and shared the love of riding motorcycles together; Tom unfortunately lost his life to Cancer. |

UFC Cage Fighting UFC cage fighting at its best! With talent such as UFC 4 time champion & hall of famer Ken Shamrock; the most dangerous man in the world. As well as former champion, Dan Savage & an appearance by former Olympic skater, Tanya Harding, and former world heavy weight boxing champion & Rocky IV actor, Tommy Morris. Fans from all over the area marveled at this professional fighting event. |

The fastest boats in the world, race at speeds approaching 200 miles an hour, all competing for the National Championship Title! Merlyn brought this fantastic event to the Lake of the Ozarks, and it immediately became the most successful event ever at held at the Lake of the Ozarks. This event brought tens of thousands of people to the Lake of the Ozarks, and according to the Missouri Division of Tourism, it generated over four million dollars for the local economy.
